FIELD: automatics. SUBSTANCE: method for monitoring wear resistance of foundry equipment includes measurement by transducers of time taken for passing definite path 1 by screw in injection cylinder and normalization of signal corresponding to dose volume of material in mold. Transducers determine difference of intervals Δt between time t2 of filling mold with molten metal dose and time t taken by screw for passing distance 1. Formula for determination of Δt is given in invention description. Device for realization of the method is provided with means for automated control. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 4 dwg
