FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric boiler in the form of body of rotation has heating element manufactured from glass ribbon and carbon fibre material placed in layers impregnated with chemically and heat-resistant binder and protective enclosure. Protective enclosure is positioned coaxially to heating element with clearance of 5-25 mm and difference of perimeters of upper and lower bases of heating element and enclosure equal to 2-40 mm. Protective enclosure is fabricated from glass ribbon impregnated with same binder. Phenolformaldehyde resin with viscosity of 100-900 mPa. s is used in the capacity of chemically resistant binder and mixture of sodium silicate with powdery filling agent and hardener or silicon resin is used as heat-resistant binder.
