FIELD: electrical engineering; band-type flexible heaters for construction engineering, agriculture, domestic appliances, and many other industries. SUBSTANCE: heater has heating element, insulation, fiberglass safety casing, and terminals; heating element is made of 20-100 mm wide carbon band based on hydrated cellulose fibers treated at final temperature of minimum 1800 C. Insulation is made of fluoroplastic film. Terminals are built up of metal foil and carbon band compressed on either side with stainless-steel strips. EFFECT: improved operating efficiency, enlarged functional capabilities, improved reliability due to reduced specific surface thermal load. 2 dwg
