FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: cocoa oil, grated cocoa beans and sugar powder are metered according to specified receipt, mixed and disintegrated. The mixture is directed into an active zone generated by a variable rotary electromagnetic field, intensity 50-150 kA/m, for hydrodynamic treatment characterized by Euler criterion 50-150. Then the mixture is treated with a thinner and the resulting mixture is again directed into an active zone generated by a variable rotary electromagnetic field, intensity 50-150 kA/m, for hydrodynamic treatment with Euler criterion of 170-230. EFFECT: method is simplified by intensifying the treatment of a mixture of cocoa oil, grated cocoa beans and sugar powder before introduction of a thinner which eliminates diluting and adding cocoa oil and improves the quality of end product by reducing its viscosity and increasing its degree of dispersity. 3 tbl
