FIELD: pipeline transportation system maintenance. SUBSTANCE: the housing of the apparatus contains a means of connecting to a source of detergent and a spring-biased flow control valve arranged to function in two positions so as to operate in conjunction with a frontal nozzle of the housing and a cluster of jet nozzles when set into the first position and with a cluster of housing nozzles installed at right angles with the axis of the apparatus when the valve is in the second position. Radial clamping rods adjustable for length are provided in the rear end of the apparatus to keep it fixed in fouled sections of the pipeline. The rear end also carries extra jet nozzles, and the frontal nozzle is installed in the axis of the apparatus at some distance from the flow control valve so that a chamber is formed therebetween, communicating with the valve.
