FIELD: tire and industrial rubber industries. SUBSTANCE: a vulcanization accelerator for rubber mixes based on general purpose natural rubber comprises 2-(2-(2,141--dinitrophenyl)-thiobenzthiazole and monoalkanoates based on fatty aromatic or aliphatic acids or alcohols having a long aliphatic C10- C21 chain and an oxyethylation degree of 10-20 in a 50-80 : 20-50 weight ratio. The vulcanization accelerator may further comprise silicon dioxide or industrial carbon in a 100:(10-30) weight ratio. The induction period of decomposition of a new composite vulcanization accelerator at 160 C is 140-165 min. The new accelerator promotes the desired kinetics of the vulcanization process and the cross-linking degree. EFFECT: improved properties of the vulcanization accelerator. 2 cl, 2 tbl
