DISPERSER OF RUBBER MIXES Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: tire and rubber processing industries. SUBSTANCE: disperser of rubber mixes comprises zinc salt of C₁₀-C₂₅ fatty acid, and as the additive, C₁₀-C₂₇-fatty acid or mixture thereof with oxyethylated C₁₆-C₂₁-fatty acid with oxyethylation number from 15 to 20. The weight ratios of said components are follows: 50-60:40-50 or 50-60:30-40:10-20. The properties of rubber mixes based on synthetic cis-1,4- isoprene rubber and butadiene-methyl-styrene, respectively: the duration of at 155 C (rheometer 100) is 14-19 min and 20-22 min the rate is 42032 and 77-80 cm/min the elastic restoration of the extrudate by the profile is 76-82% and 70-72%. No distorted surface of the extrudate is observed at higher screw conveyer rotational speed. Unpleasant smell is removed when warming up rubber mixes.
