FIELD: water-development works. SUBSTANCE: for drawing the fish, louver plates 4 are opened and are positioned at preset angle relative to openings 17 of cap 15. Gate 16 turns to such a position at which its openings get registered with openings 17, after which gate 7 is opened and drawing flow is admitted via bypass gallery 6 to interior of outlet cap 15 and then flows to louver plates 4 by jets escaping from openings 17; jets set in rotation the perforated device. Owing to delivery of drawing flow over entire lateral surface of device 3, equal probability exists for the fish to get into drawing cone or into working chamber on either side of tailrace canal. Upon completion of fish drawing procedure, gate 7 closes simultaneously with closing of louver plates 4. Container 9 filled fish is transferred to head race by means of gantry crane 19 where fish is let out. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
