FIELD: ice structures. SUBSTANCE: method consists in separating the base for the platform from ice field and forming the ice mass from ice blocks on the surface of the base. Platform base is arranged in the river delta, then two parallel slots are made in the channel, blocks are cut between slots thus forming clean water channel for floating the ice blocks to the ice platform.
