FIELD: electrical and radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture of cable articles. Conductors brought together into bundle are placed between give-up and take-in devices. When moved with constant speed they are gripped in two points of twisting arranged at some distance from each other. Torque is applied in each of two-points located between points of twisting ensuring twisting of conductors with respect to their common axis with equal angular speed. Twisted conductors are used to fill part of distance between first point of twisting during down movement and second point of application of torque. Then torque is released from first point for time ensuring passage by twisted conductors of specified part of distance. In this case conductors are gripped to form additional point of twisting at end section of specified part of distance which faces second point of application of torque. Torque is released from first point simultaneously with formation of this additional point of twisting. Simultaneously with release of first torque angular speed of rotation of conductors can be reduced gradually at point of application of second torque.
