FIELD: manufacture of boards. SUBSTANCE: method in which the lower tire band is covered by lower glue film on its inside which is later poured with core mixture. The obtained blank is subjected to preliminary compression and calibrated against thickness. Further the blank is uniformly and continuously drawn through a V-shaped slot. Before the upper tire band is put on the core the inside of the band is covered with upper glue film provided for confining the previously compressed core mixture from above. The glue film is applied through doubling. To achieve a constant tension the glue films together with bands are passed through tension adjusting unit and after such a treatment they are applied on the bands. The core mixture positioned in front of the V-shaped slot is kept at a constant proportion. As core used is a mixture containing (percent by weight) 60-95 of inorganic fillers and 5-40 of organic or inorganic granular or pasty binder. When drawn through a V-shaped slot the blanks having a fluid pasty core and a smaller angle of bulk cone are second in compression to those with a larger bulk cone. The lesser compression is obtained as due to an increased inlet angle and/or lesser chamfering radius of the surface confining the V-shaped slot. The device has two pairs of rolls for applying the glue film on lower and upper bands. It has also drums for upper and lower films and a means for defining adjustable inlet angle and controllable V-shaped slot for the core mixture to be introduced. The means has the form of doctor beam or board provided with a movable sheet-shaped member located in a zone contacting with the core mixture. The device incorporates units for adjusting the tension of the mentioned films. at least one of them being interposed between drums for the upper and lower glue films the mentioned pairs of covering rolls. The table has a prominence positioned so as to cross the sense of the bands moment. EFFECT: higher efficiency of process, shorter operating time 2. 12 cl, 4 dwg
