FIELD: mining and building-road engineering. SUBSTANCE: in order to increase the operating efficiency of the excavator at the expense of raising the dipper mobility in the excavator working equipment at the beginning of soil excavation, a supporting fixture is installed behind the face and its penetration into the soil is exercised at the expense of the fundamental mass of the working equipment at the "floating" arrow. Then the soil scooping takes place. The dipper is turned relative to the supporting fixture under the action of the hydraulic cylinders of the dipper turn. Owing to the connection of the dipper with the supporting fixture by means of saddle bearings and guides, the increase of the dipper mobility is achieved at the expense of possible forward and rotary motion of the dipper relative to the supporting fixture and the face and, correspondingly, the realization of any mechanical trajectories of the cutting edge of the dipper in order to avoid an obstacle. EFFECT: raised dipper mobility, increased operating efficiency. 2 dwg
