EXCAVATOR FRONT-END EQUIPMENT Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2005854 C1

FIELD: mining and road-building machinery. SUBSTANCE: bucket 3 of excavator front-end equipment is placed in face so that rear wall 7 pointed to face is forced into soil. Then soil is scooped when bucket 3 is turned relative to thrusted wall 7 under action of hydraulic cylinders 8. Working loads are closed on short section (within bucket limits) owing to their relative equalizing. Design of excavator front-end equipment provides decrease in load on excavator, increase in bucket capacity and excavator capacity. EFFECT: increased excavator capacity. 2 dwg
