FIELD: heat-exchange apparatus. SUBSTANCE: heat-exchange element of condenser is made of two pipes 1 and 2 arranged horizontally one above other; lower pipe 2 is finned and upper pipe 1 is provided with holes 3 in its lower portion located at pitch equal to pitch of recesses 4 formed by fins 5 of lower pipe 2. Upper pipe 1 and lower pipe 2 adjoin each other by their generatrices and cross section of lower pipe has form of ellipse 6 with vertical larger axis 7; height of fins in upper portion of lower pipe is less than that in its lower portion. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to increased heat transfer coefficient. 2 dwg
