FIELD: manufacture of rubber woven articles, in particular, pneumatic natatorial means. SUBSTANCE: article is manufactured from blanks, with one of blanks being composed of two interconnected parts. Longitudinal edges of parts proximate to connection sides are made rectilinear. Curvilinear longitudinal edges of blanks with overlapped sealing tapes are disposed in radial planes of buoyancy chamber in butt relation along middle lines of tapes. Blanks are connected by load-bearing tapes in chamber at its inner side. Load-bearing tapes are made from the same material as blanks and are adapted to form radial transverse lap seams. Method involves cutting article blanks from material web, with outer blanks being composed of two parts, with first part making end portion of one combined web and second part making leading portion of other combined web; roughening material web to obtain curvilinear contours of blanks and making transverse slots in web along edges of toughened contours of blanks; leaving uncut cross-pieces at the sides of longitudinal edges of web and between composite blanks of article; connecting tapes with blanks by laying them along middle line of curvilinear edge joint; connecting leading portion of article with end portion of combined web to obtain closed hollow article; connecting longitudinal edges of combined web one with the other. EFFECT: high quality of article. 3 cl, 8 dwg
