FIELD: aviation. SUBSTANCE: arrangement with layer of hydrophobic material 4 applied onto surface to be protected is provided with separate profiled sections placed on this surface. Each section has metal plate 1 made of material similar to material of surface to be protected and connected with layer of hydrophobic material 4 by means of dielectric sealing compound 3. Inner surface of hydrophobic layer is metallized. Built into hydrophobic layer are some (N) flat electromagnetic coils 6 interconnected with each other within each section. Coils of each section are connected to power source 7 through channel selector switch 8. EFFECT: improved efficiency in removal of formed ice from hydrophobic layer on surface being protected due to reduced adhesion. 4 dwg
