FIELD: oil drain from oil cases of, for example, internal combustion engines, gear units, etc. SUBSTANCE: drain plug has cap mounted in drain hole of oil case. Transfer holes are made in staggered manner on side surface of cap. Bush is screwed into cap and functions to control degree of opening of transfer holes during oil drain. Sealing member prevents oil leakage throughout entire control range. Ball lock prevents spontaneous loosening of bus bush. Cap and bush flanges are essentially nuts.
