FIELD: testing of elements and components of internal combustion engine fuel equipment. SUBSTANCE: method consists in flow test of the high-pressure line of the pump under test by running fuel in the direction opposite to the working flow; two pumps under test are set in synchronous operation through phase shift of cam shaft; one pump operates as reference unit and other pump acts as unit under test; after determination of cycle feed and other parameters of valve unit and calculation of nonuniformity, pump functions are reversed and nonuniformity of parameters of valve units of first pump are now determined. Device is provided with gear drive whose drive gear is connected with drive shaft and driven gears are mounted on camshaft of pumps for shifting them in accordance with sequence of fuel delivery phases in the pump.
