FIELD: engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propulsion engineering, specifically to diesel engine fuel injecting pump service life recovery. According to method ND-21/4 fuel pump complete plunger pairs are installed into ND-22/6 pump housing; then, equal length fuel lines are screwed-in to unions and combining high pressure fuel lines inner cavities into one common cavity via high pressure T-joint from two plunger pairs installed in fuel pump housing. To provide same law for both plungers pushers lifting repair camshaft is made from two HPFP ND-21/4 camshafts, for this, second cam shaft is turned on drive side according to size of connection with first shaft; then newly made repair camshaft is complemented and installed into ND-22/6 pump housing; and connecting high pressure T-joints with nozzles via fuel lines according to fuel injection lines to corresponding cylinders.
EFFECT: invention enables to increase HPFP service life.
