FIELD: military equipment. SUBSTANCE: device has housing 1, screw motion mechanism made in form of motion screw 2 and nut 3, intermediate member 4 made in form of frame in cross section which has diametrically opposite twin projections and linked with nut 3 by means of axles 7 and 8. Arranged in housing 1 are U-shaped clamps which are mounted for swinging relative to axles. Clamps 9 and 10 are provided with jumpers which are bevelled in cross section. Outer bevels of jumpers are engageable with wedges 15 and 16 mounted movably relative to housing 1. Wedges 15 and 16 have transverse slots which receive the pins secured in twin projections of intermediate member 4. Fitted on end of motion screw 2 projecting beyond the housing is gear wheel connected with drive. Free ends of U-shaped clamps are linked together by means of spring-loaded plates 22 and 23. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of locking the turret of armored vehicle in stowed position. 3 cl, 5 dwg
