FIELD: military equipment. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to protection of noses of armored vehicles. Nose includes basic armor 1 composed of interwelded center 2 and lower 3 front parts mounted with construction angles 30° ± 30' and 47° + 30' accordingly. Water repelling shield 4, bulldozer and steel plate 6 having thickness of 0.15-0.25 of thickness of basic armor are installed at distance 1.0-1.6 of thickness of basic armor in parallel to center and lower front parts. Plate is anchored on center front part with the aid of bolts with conical heads screwed into steel reducing bushings installed in basic armor. Control over water-repelling shield is performed with the use of pneumatic cylinders via system of levers. Bulldozer is hinged to lower plate of hull by means of hinges and four chains keeping blades in working position, four braces meant to fix blades in stowed position and four hook ends intended to fix chains in stowed position. For lowering of bulldozer into working position it will be necessary to extend water-repelling shield, to slacken nuts, to withdraw braces from engagement with blade and to put blade down to lower position. EFFECT: increased level of antiprojectile protection without increase of mass of machine. 5 cl, 5 dwg
