METHOD OF FASTENING STACK OF PIPES Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: maintenance of sea load ships. SUBSTANCE: end lower pipes of stack are fixed onto support base. Each three pipes of two adjacent rows of stack are connected together by their edges by means of grips. Pipes are placed with their edges at the same plane between rests onto separated area into rectangular-shaped stack. Each grip is oriented with its cuts along the line of contact of side surfaces of three pipes which are in contact and disposed in two adjacent rows of the stack; then the stack is mounted onto edges of these pipes. Stack is formed from three-pipe connections and single (if necessary pipes onto the deck or hatch cap of the ship by using crane, gaskets, rests and clamps. At first the first stage of three-pipe connection is mounted onto the gaskets - two pipes are disposed at the bottom and the third one is from the top. Then the second stage is mounted - two tubes are from the top side and the third one is between them at the bottom. EFFECT: simplification; reduced time for load operations of the ship. 4 dwg
