FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: flexible shield has wood flooring boards, tightened by longitudinal metal belts from channels and angle pieces, braces fastened to connecting members secured to beam end faces. Installed between flooring boards and braces are anchor props. Connecting members are made in form of a pair of angle pieces with one row of flooring boards or U-shaped crossbar with two rows of flooring boards. Braces are installed over two beams of flooring and fastened to centers of connecting members. Braces may be connected by channel laid with flanges upward or by shelves with anchor props installed between them. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 6 dwg
