FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: housing is provided with two cylinders which form a section. Rollers are coupled with the housing through members made as bearings mounted in the housing. A lever is received in the bearings. Two double-cog jaws are secured to the lever. The jaws are pivotally coupled with the rollers. Working surfaces of the cam of a converting mechanism, which correspond to the compression stroke, are spiral and those that correspond to the expansion stroke are straight.
