FIELD: fan engineering. SUBSTANCE: multi-stage fan has housing having inlet and outlet openings, shaft with a drive arranged within the housing, and impeller unit mounted on the shaft. A fairing, used for adding air flows from each section of the impellers, is mounted on the shaft. The impellers are arranged over the length of the fairing uniformly. Each of the impellers has a cylindric deflector which is provided with the inlet for air intake over periphery. The blades of corresponding section are received in the inlet. The outlet of air flow is directed through side openings over periphery of the member for adding air flows into its space. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 5 cl, 3 dwg
