SUBSTANCE: method involves sputum sample taking off, its autoclaving, extraction with chloroform-methanol mixture, evaporation, methylation, dissolving in hexene following by chromatomass-spectrometric assay of tuberculostearic acid. Method involves also separation of organic layer after extraction with chloroform-methanol mixture, its drying over anhydrous sodium sulfate and methylation at the methylating mixture boiling point for 15-20 min. EFFECT: simplified method, shortened time of assay.
