Lead of cylindrical spiral of cathode is taken from relation given in description of invention. Secondary emission cathode of magnetron is manufactured from refractory metal wire, is coated with dispersed emission substance having composition, parts by mass: rhenium 0.4-4.0; yttrium 76-78; oxygen being the balance. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of magnetron of continuous operation. 1 dwg
