FIELD: diagnosis of condition of electrochemical generators. SUBSTANCE: method of determination of emf and of internal resistance of electrochemical generator with nonlinear characteristic consists in measurement of four pairs of corresponding voltages and currents (U_i,I_i (where i=0-3) selected so that in current intervals (I₀,I₂) и (I₁,I₃) and (I₀,I₂) и (I₁,I₃) volt-ampere characteristic is sufficiently accurately approximated by quadratic polynominals and sought values of emf E(I₀) and of internal resistance RR_вн(I₀) in specified point (U₀,I₀) are calculated by formulas given in description of invention. EFFECT: improved reliability of method.
