FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: parameters identifying method for power transmission line feeding excavator is based on registration of data arrays of instantaneous current and voltage values at the receiving end of the line and computation of valid current and voltage values by their averaging for the period of the supply mains voltage and phase shift between current and voltage. At that during excavation cycle additional measurements are taken for voltage U1 and angle φ1 of phase shift between current and voltage at maximum current value I1 in consumption mode, voltage U2 and angle φ2 of phase shift between current and voltage at maximum current value I2 and in regeneration mode and voltage U0 at current value of I0≈0 at transit of the excavator from consumption mode to electric energy regeneration mode (or vice a versa) and active r and inductive x of the line resistance are computed by numerical calculation of the following set of equations:

EFFECT: simplified implementation of procedure for identification of parameters for the power transmission line feeding the excavator.
