FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: composition of mixture, which is fed to cylinders, is maintained at the extreme poor level by generating main and correction control signals. A feedback parameter, which is proportional to scattering of extreme pressure fluctuations of exhaust, is used for generating the correction signal. Device has unit for control of fuel supply, signal shaper of a parameter measured, unit for detecting quasi-steady-state regime of operation, and unit for calculation of scattering of the extreme values of pressure fluctuations.
