ELECTRODE-TYPE FLUID HEATER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2029199 C1

FIELD: water-heating devices. SUBSTANCE: electrode-type fluid heater has barrel with cover and water supply and discharge pipes, insulating shield, and flat regulating and fixed electrodes bent over arcs of concentric circumferences; one of them is phase electrode and other one is neutral. Electrodes are connected to case cover by means of conducting bars for turning regulating electrode relative to fixed one. Fixed electrode is essentially vertical strip and regulating electrode is vertical clamp whose convex part faces strip surface. Dissipated power of heater depends on angle of turn of clamp in respect to strip within 180 deg. EFFECT: improved design. 3 dwg
