FIELD: forensic medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method prescribes macroscopically and stereomicroscopically studying and recording identification traits of real injuries, collating these with revealed and experimentally obtained identification traits of grouped injuries, identifying injury implement in question, applying set of conventional, par example pictographic signs, to basic model for each real and experimental injuries according to localized corresponding traits of injuries and their linear dimensions, identifying mechanism of disintegration of material based on thus formed diagnostic models, isolating identification traits, making up summary identification model of real injuries and summary identification model of experimental injuries, identifying injury implement in question by comparing above mentioned summary identification models, and employing simplified graphic image of injury inflicted by sharpened double-edged blade.
