FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: this device for locally cooling thermoreceptors incorporates thermoelectric batteries 1 connected to automatic control unit and carrying radiators 3 made of wire-based porous material and combined into single radiator unit having transverse recesses spaced at 0.4 to 1.0 and having depth of 0.2 to 0.7 of radiator unit thickness. Securely positioned in between thermal junctions of thermoelectric batteries and radiator unit is thin metallic plate 2 whose area is equal to that of radiator unit base and its length is from 2 to 5 times as great as its width. EFFECT: smaller time lag and lower energy consumption. 1 dwg
