FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: this method of regulating metabolism in osteal tissue prescribes administering xydifone and oxydevite in daily dose of 5 to 50 mg/kg and 0.5 to 1.0 mcg, respectively, during two months at one month interval during first two years, with two-month cures per year if duration of treatment exceeds two years. EFFECT: disclosed method is highly effective, for it not only terminates loss in osteal tissue in metabolic osteopathies but encourages buildup of osteal tissue, diminishes risk of new fractures, cuts down term of adhesion, prevents pathological fractures of skeletal bones in cases of myelogenetic disorders and metastases, and produces pronounced analgesic effect.
