FIELD: biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: new strain Aspergillus species VKPMG-559 - a producer of protein and cellulases can utilize cellulose as a single source of carbon. Strain shows high endoglucanase, cellobiase activity and activity by FB at 14% protein yield (on the 3-d day of fermentation). Strain is isolated from sewage, grows well on the agarized media under aerobic conditions, at optimal temperature 10-45 C and pH 4.5-6.2. Degree of substrate utilization is up to 85%.
