FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: timbering has arched top beam 1 and bent pillars 2 of specific profile, lap-sliced by yielding units with joints of bolt or wedge type. Rectilinear portions 3 of equal length are made on ends of the pillars and top beams. This length is smaller than one of lap-slicing of members in yielding units. The top beam enables rectilinear portions and curvilinear portion of the pillars to interact. Bent radius of the pillars is equal for all dimensions and types of timbering. Length of rectilinear portion of top beam between curvilinear portion and joint point with the pillar is determined by a formula. EFFECT: reliable timbering. 2 cl, 4 dwg
