FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this roll-formed section member can be used for supporting mine workings. It has symmetrical channel and smaller channel in bottom and it has channels in its flanges. Walls of symmetrical channel are curvilinear and are in the form of cylindrical shells oriented along section member. Walls can be made in the form of cylindrical shell with center of radius of curvature located above section member flanges or made in the form of two cylindrical shells with their line of conjugation being inclined as to axis of symmetry of section member.
