METHOD OF SEALING UP INTERFERENCE FILTERS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of interference filters. SUBSTANCE: method consists in connecting two plates without clearance; filter is located on surface of at least one of these plates; edges of filter have chamfers; plates are connected by applying adhesive with preliminary inserting of flexibly stretched ring made of flexible material; adhesive may be applied in metered portions sufficient for penetration of it to preset depth between the plates; after application of adhesive, plates are held in the fixture till complete hardening of adhesive. Adhesive may be applied several times; subsequent layer shall be applied after complete hardening of previous one; for applying first layers, use is made of quick-setting adhesive; for applying last layers; use is made of adhesive which requires more time for hardening but which is stronger. Adhesive may be applied by means of syringe on the revolving parts. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 5 cl, 2 dwg
