FIELD: electric machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric motor with rolling rotor has stator with magnetic circuits 1 and winding 2 and rotor 3 installed in it eccentrically. Rotor 3 is manufactured in the form of magnetic circuit which opposite ends carry radially magnetized disc magnets 4 and 5. Magnet 4 is magnetized in opposition to magnet 5. EFFECT: such design of rotor makes it possible to diminish its moment of inertia and to improve static and dynamic characteristics of electric motor. 3 cl, 4 dwg
