FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: air-dried roving is treated with sodium tripolyphosphate aqueous solution (concentration is 0.3-0.6 g/l) or prevocel (concentration is 0.2-0.3 g/l) at 60-65 C for 15 min. Boiling is carried out for two stages. At the first stage oxidative boiling is carried out for 30-60 min, at 95-98 C in aqueous alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide containing sodium tripolyphosphate (0.3-0.6 g/l), sodium silicate (9-11 g/l), soda ash (7-15 g/l) at the total alkalinity of solution 4-8 g/l (as sodium hydroxide) and hydrogen peroxide (1.1-1.5 g/l as active oxygen) with temperature raise up to 96-98 C for 60 min. At the second stage sulfite-alkaline boiling is carried out at 93-95 C for 30-120 min in solution containing sodium hydroxide (1.9-2.2 g/l) and sodium sulfite (5-11 g/l) with temperature raise up to 93-95 C for 10-20 min. Between first and second stages washing in sodium tripolyphosphate solution is carried out (concentration is 0.3-0.6 g/l) at 60-65 C for 15 min. EFFECT: improved method of flax roving preparation. 2 tbl
