FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: system incorporates heat exchanger-evaporator placed in water collecting pit in reactor room connected to turbine and low-boiling liquid condenser. In the event of accident, heat exchanger-evaporator is supplied with thermal energy from faulty reactor and sets turbine in motion which drives sprinkler water pump, low-boiling liquid pump, and cooling water pump thereby transferring heat from reactor room to final absorber.
