FIELD: production of cellular structure of plastic tapes. SUBSTANCE: method includes forming shaped articles with crosswise corrugates concurrently at a number of parallel plastic tapes moving through bending corners. Bending corners are given with oscillations. The shaped elements are connected to one another in the process of corrugate formations, held down to one another with their apexes, and welded. Device has units for tape bending, feed device, connecting device with welding means provided with drive mechanisms. Bending units are made in the form of elastic drawing units, in particular rollers, installed on rocking bearings in pairs. The bearings are rocked in opposite phases and change direction. Connecting device comprises several pairs of cams installed so to be moved in compulsory manner along and around its axes. Means to weld the tapes are placed at the apexes of the cams.
