FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: oxidizer is swirled about the axis of the engine in a source of oxidizer. Thermodynamic condition of fluid introduced into the turbine is changed by its compression, heating, expanding and cooling. During expanding of fluid, one increases periphery velocity of fluid in the zone of the source of heated fluid positioned upstream of the zone for cooling heated fluid. Coolant is fed to the zone of the source of heated fluid positioned between zones of expanding and cooling of heated fluid. The gas-turbine engine has turbine 3, source 1 of swirled flow of oxidizer, and source 2 of heated fluid having zone for heating (C), expanding (D), and cooling (E) of fluid. Source 2 is constructed as outer and inner shells arranged parallel to the engine axis and defines a ring space between the shells. The diameter of the ring space in zone (D) for expanding heated fluid decreases in the direction of cooling zone (E). The internal ring shell has at least one opening connected with the source of coolant of heated fluid. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 15 cl, 13 dwg
