FIELD: air cooling. SUBSTANCE: air is treated in two heat exchange sections. Common air stream is passed through dry channels of the first section which are at heat-exchange condition with humid channels from this section. Then the stream is separated to basic and additional streams at the output. Additional stream is directed in opposite to common stream along moistened channels and then is withdrawn into atmosphere. Basic stream is passed through dry channels of the second section which are at heat-exchange position with its humid channels. After that the stream is fed to consumer. Additional stream is formed from common stream after it passed the first section. The stream is directed to additional dry channels of the second section which are at heat-exchange condition with its humid channels. Additional stream is separated at output of the section and is directed into humid channels in opposite to basic and additional streams. Separated additional stream is removed into atmosphere. Streams of humid channels are controlled for discharge at output into environment. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 2 cl, 2 cl, 3 dwg
