FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: vessel of nuclear reactor has metal power thin-wall jacket with functions of protective (corrosion-resistant) shell and multilayer winding arranged on outer surface of power jacket produced from polymer material. Winding presents filament stressed in advance and wound about jacket with spacing equal to filament diameter. Thicknesses of jacket and filament are chosen from relations interconnecting pressure inside vessel with characteristics of materials of jacket and winding. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency of reactor. 2 dwg
