FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of gas equipment, namely to high pressure metal composite cylinders. The high pressure metal composite cylinder comprises an internal sealing metal liner and an external power shell made of a composite material by continuously winding bundles of a composite material impregnated with a binding solution, in the form of a combination of spiral and annular layers. The thickness of the composite layer is calculated by two criteria: calculation by strength and calculation by deformations.
EFFECT: creation of a high pressure metal composite cylinder with the minimum possible weight, the required strength and high cyclic resistance.
