FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: thermostatic switch has case made from dielectric material, stationary contacts anchored on it, mobile contact in the form of flat spring attached on side of one of stationary contacts. Other stationary contact has cut-out filled with thermal sensitive material. In case of inadmissible heating of electric device protected with thermostatic switch thermal sensitive material melts, spring moves to rest against of case breaking electric circuit into which thermostatic switch is placed.
