FIELD: sources of electric energy. SUBSTANCE: thermoelectric generator is designed for conversion of thermal energy of ocean into electric one. It has thermoelectric cell including hot and cold junctions, heat accumulator having thermal contact with hot junction of thermoelectric cell, ballast vessel located above cold junction of thermoelectric cell made with open lower part and fitted with controlled valve coupling upper part of vessel with environment.
