FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: fiber-optical laser has active element manufactured in the form of optical fiber produced from polymer material including core with dye injected into it and shell which refractive index is lese than refractive index of core. Characteristic feature of laser consists in use of fluoride polymethylmetacrylate based on tetrafluoracrylate as material of shell, polymethylacrylate or copolymer of methylmetacrylate with methacrylic acid in used as material of core. Description gives quantitative relations of dyes - rodamine 6 Ж, rodamine C and coumarin 30 injected into core. Pumping is conducted with noncoherent source. EFFECT: increased energy characteristics of laser, expanded spectral range of generation with simultaneous simplification of design of laser and reduction of its mass-and-size characteristics. 4 cl, 1 tbl
