Method of generating laser radiation with a droplet microlaser includes forming an optical resonator in the form of spherical liquid droplets doped with a dye, irradiating them with optical radiation from an excitation source and generating laser radiation, according to the invention, an optical resonator is formed in the form of a mesoscale spherical liquid droplet with the size parameter Mie q=ka (where k is the wave number and the radius of the spherical droplet, respectively) of order of 10, with a relative refraction index of not more than 2, high-order superresonance Mie modes are generated in an optical resonator and then two circular hot spots are formed around the poles of the spherical liquid droplet along the direction of incidence of electromagnetic radiation.
EFFECT: providing laser radiation at hot spots of a spherical mesoscaled liquid droplet.
